Curiosity Tank is led by Michele Ronsen, a professional user researcher, designer, coach, and educator with more than 5,000 hours of adult design and user research teaching expertise in academic institutions and 20+ years of corporate training, workshops, design and research for Fortune 500s and start-ups.

Activities each week

Utilize previous research to create multiple, clear and compelling "share out" materials to inspire your stakeholders to take action. No research learnings to share? You're welcome to listen in and soak up the knowledge for future applications.

Week 1
Author Research snacks
pithy snippets shared informally throughout a project, typically 3-5 key takeaways

Compile a Topline report a written report that is typically one to two pages long


Week 2 and Week 3
Write a Case Study outline
and write about your research in an industry standard format that is used in UX portfolios

Design a Presentation: translate your case study into a designed document that can be used to present your work verbally


Week 4
Practice presenting
rehearse how you will share the results of your research and learn the soft skills to wow stakeholders.
