The BUILD Like A Pro Pilot Results Are In: Everyone Built At Least 2 Things
The first two BUILD Like A Pro pilot sessions happened in June, and they completely exceeded my expectations.
Every single participant built at least two prototypes during the session. Two or more. In three hours. Most came in not knowing what to expect. A few admitted they were skeptical about how much they could actually produce. By the end, skeptics were sharing working builds with the group.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated in the two pilots! You showed up, you built, and provided specific, actionable feedback that made this course measurably better for future cohorts! I'm genuinely grateful. This is exactly the kind of collaboration that makes everything I build worth building!
The secret weapon was the prompt library. WOOT! A set of ready-to-use prompts for each project and each medium. You don't have to figure out what to say to the tool. The prompts do that work. You fill in your specifics, paste, and build. Once you have the prompt library, you have a foundation to work from forever. Adapt the prompts to any project, any stakeholder, any recommendation you need to make tangible. They don't expire. Neither does the skill. The skill compounds. The prompt library has been updated since the pilot based on everything I learned in those first sessions. It's yours forever.
And because the pilot participants asked for more, an advanced BUILD course is in development. Based on their feedback, it will go deeper into iterating on a build based on real reactions, adding AI features inside a prototype, connecting to live data, building conversational interfaces, and evaluating and fixing what you've built.
